Terrell Suggs will play vs. Broncos

Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs played Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos despite a torn right biceps, recording one tackle in Baltimore's lopsided loss.

The Broncos cruised past the Ravens 34-17.

Suggs missed last Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Redskins a week after suffering the injury in the fourth quarter of a loss to Pittsburgh.

Fellow linebacker Ray Lewis remained sidelined, two months after tearing his triceps.

After missing the first six weeks of the season with a torn right Achilles tendon, Suggs had returned sooner than expected and logged 19 tackles and two sacks in six games.

The 30-year-old Suggs, who married his fiancee, Candace Williams, on Friday night, had missed only three games in his first nine seasons before this year. He played in all 16 games last season, had 14 sacks and helped the Ravens reach the AFC title game before being named NFL defensive player of the year.
