The Minnesota Vikings have narrowed down their list of choices for the No. 3 pick in next week's NFL draft to three players. Now they must settle on one. Vikings general manager Rick Spielman, according to a report in the St. Paul Pioneer Press, has submitted among his staff three names for consideration with the team's top pick -- USC left tackle Matt Kalil, LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne and Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon. Over the next week, the Vikings' staff will be tasked with determining which player to choose. According to the report, all three players are listed as equals on the Vikings' draft board. "What you're saying (to the staff) is, 'All these guys have equal ability,'" Spielman told the Pioneer Press. "What do you want? Do you want the receiver? Do you want the tackle? Do you want the corner?'" Spielman told the Pioneer Press that a favorite has not emerged and the team will keep its options open. On Thursday, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter the Indianapolis Colts have told Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck that they will take him with the No. 1 overall pick. The Washington Redskins are widely expected to follow by taking Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 pick, leaving the Vikings as the first team in question.
