NFC East remaining team needs

NFL, NFL Draft, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins

With NFL free agency slowing down, teams are in the middle of setting their draft boards for the 2012 NFL draft. No team filled all of its roster holes in free agency, so where are the areas of weakness for each roster heading into the draft?

Here are the top six needs for every NFL team leading into the draft, broken up by division. The AFC was released on Thursday. Here is the NFC file.

Washington Redskins

Top needs:
1. Quarterback: It was costly, but the Redskins put themselves into position to draft their QB of the future, Robert Griffin III, who can change the whole outlook of this organization. Rex Grossman will be back as the backup and mentor to the rookie and John Beck could be the No. 3. Having two veterans in the QB meeting room to help RG3 may be a good idea.

2. Offensive tackle: This is a potentially troubling position in 2012 at both tackle spots. Left tackle Trent Williams is a really good player, but he is one positive drug test from being suspended for a year, and on the right side, Jammal Brown could be replaced. Tackle Willie Smith played pretty well in spot duty a year ago, but the Redskins need both another starter and backup swing tackles right away.
