Bears fifth-round selection Johnny Knox is looking forward to seeing his old Abilene Christian teammate, Danieal Manning.
"I didn't get a chance to talk to [Manning] because I know he's been busy, and so have I with this whole draft process, " said Knox in a conference call with the media at Halas Hall. "But I look forward to talking with him when I get up there (for rookie mini-camp at the end of next week)."
When asked if he had the edge in speed over Manning, Knox laughed, "I don't know, we've never raced, but he's a pretty fast guy."
So is Knox, who's stock climbed after posting blazing 40 times. "Teams showed a little more interest after my combine," said Knox. "But I just had to wait and see how it all turned out."
