Richard Quinn in, Tony Scheffler out?

Fantasy NFL

The Broncos traded with the Steelers to get up into the final pick in the second round, rounding out their Saturday with a fifth player. With that pick, Denver took University of North Carolina tight end Richard Quinn. This is a bit of an anticlimax for an exciting fantasy football day, but I figured it makes sense to mention it, not because Quinn is an extremely powerful blocker (he is) and not because he has surprisingly decent hands (he does). But what does this say about the future of Tony Scheffler in Denver? Scheffler has the same agent (Bus Cook) as Jay Cutler, and has been rumored to be on the trading block all spring. Scheffler has been a tempting fantasy property for a couple years. But the New-England-style offense doesn't really lend itself to major use of a receiving tight end. We'll have to keep an eye on this situation, but at first blush, it certainly isn't a fantasy positive for Scheffler.
