Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News is one the most respected NFL writers in the industry, and despite writing for a Dallas-based paper, always has a unique insight when it comes to the Bears.
With the 49th pick, Gosselin has the Bears taking Oregon safety Patrick Chung. Interesting that even though Gosselin lists wide receiver as a major need (which it is), he feels the Bears will first address the defense.
It's also worth noting that the Cowboys and Bears have similar needs at receiver and safety, and that Dallas is picking two spots after the Bears in the second round at No. 51.
