Dream Scenario: With the first overall pick, the Lions certainly have the pick of the litter. It appears that Matthew Stafford will be the guy, and although I would be hesitant to draft a QB with the number one pick, the team needs a fresh face for the franchise. They also hold the 20th overall pick and you can be sure that they'll be quick to pounce on the best player available. Clay Matthews, Jr. would be a solid grab at that point.
Plan B: If for some odd reason Stafford isn't the pick, the team will assuredly be choosing between Aaron Curry or Jason Smith. The bottom line is that this team needs help everywhere. They really couldn't go wrong with any of the players they are considering with the top pick.
