From 32 to 1: Indianapolis Colts

Is it just me, or does the Colts Super Bowl victory seem like a decade ago? Sure Peyton is the reigning MVP, but consider the contenders. In a season where no one statistically set the season on fire, Manning was able to squeak out a trophy, albeit not the one he was looking for.

Gone is Tony Dungy. Out is Marvin Harrison. This team which has been a model of consistency for the last several years is suddenly without two if its icons. New head coach Jim Caldwell knows this team, particularly the offense where he's been an assistant for the past seven years. But just like most Colts teams in recent history, it will be the defense that will make or break their championship hopes in 2009.

TEAM NEEDS

Defensive Tackle:
Would it kill this team to get a player on the roster that enjoys stopping the run and is actually good at it?

Cornerback:
Kelvin Hayden is capable on one side, but this team desperately needs to find him a counterpart.

Quarterback:
I'm calling it; in three years Peyton's numbers will really begin to decline. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone being groomed behind him besides Jim Sorgi?
