CHIEFS' BEST CLASS: 1967

The Kansas City Chiefs have had good, but not great, draft classes, according to ESPN's Stats and Information's ranking system. The Chiefs had a solid draft in 1967, the inaugural modern draft season, which helped lead them to a Super Bowl win. And they have not been able to top it since. That year, the Chiefs drafted Hall of Famer Willie Lanier. They have drafted just one other (Derrick Thomas) since. Of the Top 10 Chiefs in our ranking system, zero played offensive skill positions (QB, WR, RB).
