Foster 'hungry' for return after torn Achilles (0:49)

Jeremy Fowler breaks down which teams could be interested in Arian Foster now that he is close to being ready for training camp after suffering a torn Achilles last season. (0:49)

Free agent running back Arian Foster expects to be healthy for 2016 training camp and is "hungry" to regain his 2012 form, according to a source close to the former Houston Texan.

At least three teams have recently inquired about Foster, who tore his Achilles in late October.

The Texans released the tailback in March. But Foster, 29, is inching closer to a return and is evaluating potential fits, including teams with dual-threat running back capabilities.

The Texans cut ties with Foster after injuries limited two of his last three seasons, but in his last full season, he produced 1,424 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. From 2010 to '12, Foster had 47 total touchdowns.

Foster visited the Miami Dolphins this offseason but has otherwise kept a low profile.
