ESPN World Fame 100: Russell Wilson at No. 49; Marshawn Lynch 61st

Seattle Seahawks

We asked Ben Alamar, ESPN's director of sports analytics, to figure out the most famous athletes in the world. Using a formula that combines athlete paychecks - salary and endorsements - with social media fan base and Google search popularity, he ranked the world's 100 most famous athletes. Here is the ESPN World Fame 100.

Two Seattle Seahawks players made our list:

No. 49 Russell Wilson

IT'S GOOD TO BE: A Super Bowl-winning quarterback with a 46-18 career regular-season record who hasn't missed the playoffs in four NFL seasons. He recently became engaged to Grammy Award winner Ciara.

No. 61 Marshawn Lynch

IT'S GOOD TO BE: Rich, retired and traveling the world at age 30. Lynch has popped up in Turkey, Egypt and Haiti, among other places, over the past year and seems determined to get the most out of his early retirement. We may end up hearing more from him as an ex-player than we did when he was playing.
