Aaron Rodgers attends Randall Cobb's graduation ceremony at UK

NFL, Green Bay Packers, Kentucky Wildcats

Randall Cobb had a special guest at his college graduation on Sunday.

It was his quarterback. A day after he attended the Kentucky Derby, Aaron Rodgers watched one of his favorite targets walk through part of the graduation ceremonies at the University of Kentucky.

The Green Bay Packers receiver needs two more classes to complete his degree in community leadership and development in the college of agriculture, food and environment, but he was allowed to walk at graduation.

He said he will be the first member of his immediate family to earn a college degree.

"That achievement is going to be bigger than any success I could have on the field because ... on that day I will have set a standard for my family and anyone that comes after me," Cobb said in a video produced by his alma mater. "And that's something that I always thought about as a kid: being the first one to graduate from college."

Video of Cobb's walk across the stage was posted to Twitter, and a reporter from the Lexington Herald-Leader also posted a photo of Rodgers at the graduation ceremony.

Rodgers congratulated his teammate on Twitter.
