With the next Marvel blockbuster set to come out in theaters Friday, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman decided to have a little movie-poster Photoshop fun with his quarterback, Tom Brady, on Facebook:
Produced by Walt Disney Co. (which also owns ESPN), the film, "Captain America: Civil War," pits a group of superheroes led by Captain America against another group of heroes, formerly allies, led by Iron Man. We're not sure the message Edelman is trying to send to Brady, but it's not the first time the two have engaged in Facebook shenanigans.
Last month, after Tom Brady channeled his inner Ron Burgundy in calling his receivers to assemble, Edelman responded with a video depicting he and Danny Amendola as Boston cops responding to the call.
And now, we wait for Brady's response to the latest tomfoolery.
