Buffalo Bills sign free-agent cornerback Sterling Moore

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills continue restocking their defensive backfield by signing free agent cornerback Sterling Moore.

Moore is a fifth-year player, who had an interception and forced three fumbles in nine starts in 16 games with Tampa Bay last season. He's listed at 5-foot-10 and 202 pounds, and broke into the NFL in 2011 as an undrafted free agent with New England. He also played two-plus seasons in Dallas.

Overall, Moore has four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and five forced fumbles in 56 career games.

The signing was announced Tuesday, a day after Buffalo signed free agent cornerback Corey White.

Buffalo has openings available behind starting cornerbacks, Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby, after cutting veteran backup Leodis McKelvin and losing Ron Brooks in free agency.
