NEW ORLEANS -- Saints cornerback Brandon Browner went on an expletive-filled tirade after taking issue with a reporter's line of questioning following the team's 34-28 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple reports.
Browner was eventually encouraged by teammate Mike McGlynn to leave the locker room after he angrily shouted at the reporter, according to reports by NOLA.com, The Advocate and WWL-TV. Browner used a crude term to describe the reporter, according to NOLA.com.
Browner was upset with the reporter for asking a series of questions to safety Jairus Byrd about a wild play in the first quarter, in which Byrd and cornerback Keenan Lewis collided and turned a potential interception into a 61-yard touchdown catch by the Titans' Delanie Walker. Browner said it was just one play in a game that went to overtime.
The reporter, WWL's Lyons Yellin, reported that Browner became especially upset when he responded by asking Browner if he wanted to discuss the entire game.
Browner defended his position in a series of Twitter posts and ultimately said, "I accept I was wrong today" in a tweet directed toward Yellin.
@Kat_Terrell @Joel_Lutz the game went into overtime and he asked Bryd the same questions 3x. About a play that happen in the 1st half.

They got a job to make a story, the game went into OT. That's your story right there. One play don't make a game. Next question

Browner had a postgame outburst directed at the same reporter after the Saints' Week 5 loss at Philadelphia. He often declines to speak with the media.
