Passing

-Philip Rivers, Chargers, set club records for completions (43), attempts (65) and yards (503) while throwing for two touchdowns in a 27-20 loss at Green Bay.

-Andy Dalton, Bengals, continued his strong season with three touchdown passes and no interceptions in a 34-21 win over Buffalo.

-Brian Hoyer, Texans, threw three touchdown passes on third down, finishing 24 for 36 for 293 yards in a 31-20 win over Jacksonville.

-Matthew Stafford, Lions, threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns as Detroit finally won, beating Chicago 37-34 in overtime.

Rushing

-Chris Ivory, Jets, ran for 146 yards and a TD on 20 carries in a 34-20 victory over Washington.

-Ronnie Hillman, Broncos, rushed for 111 yards on 20 carries in a 26-23 overtime victory at Cleveland.

Receiving

-Marvin Jones, Bengals, had 95 yards and a TD on nine receptions in a 34-21 win at Buffalo.

-DeAndre Hopkins, Texans, finished with 10 receptions for 148 yards and two TDs in a 31-20 win at Jacksonville. In a strange stat, Hopkins is the only player in NFL history with nine or more catches and 145 or more yards receiving in three consecutive games.

-Demaryius Thomas, Broncos, had 10 catches for 111 yards in helping Denver beat Cleveland 26-23 in overtime.

-Rookie Stefon Diggs, Vikings, had 129 yards on seven catches in a 16-10 victory over Kansas City. In two games, Diggs has 216 yards on 13 catches.

-Alshon Jeffery, Bears, who had been out since Week 1 with a hamstring injury, caught eight passes for 147 yards and a score in a 37-34 OT defeat at Detroit. Also, Calvin Johnson, Lions, had six receptions for 166 yards -- doubling his season high -- and scored for the first time since Week 2.

-Martavis Bryant, Steelers, caught six passes for 137 yards and two TDs in his first appearance this season, a 25-13 victory against Arizona. Also, John Brown, Cardinals, caught 10 balls for 196 yards.

-Brandon Marshall, Jets, had seven catches for 111 yards and a score in New York's 34-20 victory against Washington.

-Greg Olsen, Panthers, made seven catches for 131 yards and the winning TD in a 27-23 comeback win at Seattle. His Seahawks counterpart, Jimmy Graham, had eight receptions for 140 yards.

-Anquan Boldin made five catches for 102 yards and 49ers teammate Torrey Smith had three receptions for 96 yards and a score in a 25-20 win against the Ravens.

Special Teams

-Brandon McManus, Broncos, kicked four field goals, the winner from 34 yards in overtime, as Denver edged Cleveland 26-23.

-Phil Dawson, 49ers, kicked four field goals, including a 53-yarder, in a 25-20 victory over Baltimore.

-Jeron Johnson, Redskins, blocked Ryan Quigley's punt and Rashad Ross recovered in the end zone for a touchdown in a 34-20 loss to the Jets.

-Matt Prater, Lions, made three field goals, with a 27-yarder in overtime beating Chicago 37-34.

Defense

-Bashaud Breeland, Redskins, had a hand in three first-half turnovers that led to all of Washington's 13 points by halftime at the Jets: a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and an interception.

-Shaquil Barrett, Broncos, had 1 1/2 of Denver's four sacks at Cleveland. The Broncos entered the week leading the NFL with 22 sacks. Aqib Talib added a 63-yard interception return for a TD, and Cleveland's Karlos Dansby went 35 yards for a pick-6.

-Cameron Wake, Dolphins, got his first four sacks this season and also forced two fumbles in the first half, as Miami beat the Titans 38-10. Miami's Reshad Jones had eight tackles and a 30-yard TD on an interception.

-Back from a concussion, Panthers All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly had 14 tackles in the win over Seattle.

STARTS

Cincinnati (6-0) matched its best start in franchise history by beating Buffalo 34-21. The Bengals, who enter their bye week, were also 6-0 in 1975 and 1988. ... Denver is 6-0 for the seventh time in franchise history. ... Carolina is 6-0 for the first time since 2003, when it went to the Super Bowl.

Miami had one sack in its first four games, then got six in beating Tennessee 38-10. ... In beating Kansas City 16-10, it was the first win for the Vikings after their bye week since 2009. ... Detroit got its first win after five losses, beating Chicago 37-34 in OT. ... Lions WR Calvin Johnson had six receptions for 166 yards -- doubling his season high. ... While the Jets have outscored opponents 34-0 in the third quarter this season, Washington has been outscored 46-3. New York's edge was 17-0 Sunday.

This season marks the sixth time Peyton Manning has led his team to a 6-0 start, the most of any starting quarterback in NFL history. ... Buffalo has lost three straight at home for the first time since 2011. ... Andre Hal, Texans, returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown that was the sixth pick-6 thrown by Jacksonville's Blake Bortles in 19 career starts. ... Denver has won 11 in a row over Cleveland. ... The Chiefs were flagged 11 times, with eight penalties accepted for 95 yards in a loss to Minnesota. The Cardinals were penalized nine times for 111 yards in a loss to Pittsburgh. ... Washington QB Kirk Cousins threw two interceptions in a loss to the Jets. He has two picks each in four games this season -- all losses -- but no INTs in Washington's two wins. ... Aqib Talib, Broncos, ran back an interception of Josh McCown 63 yards for a touchdown, his eighth career return for a TD, the most in the NFL since 2009. ... Detroit's Calvin Johnson had six receptions for 166 yards in his 45th career game with at least 100 yards receiving, breaking a fourth-place tie with Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.

OFFICIATING MISCUE

In a season marked by officiating errors, Minnesota apparently was denied a safety when Chiefs left guard Ben Grubbs was called for holding Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd. Referee Jerome Boger announced the penalty occurred in the field of play, but replays showed Floyd was held in the end zone.

Mike Pereira, former NFL VP of officiating and now a TV analyst for Fox, agreed with Zimmer, tweeting: "After looking at it again, it's clearly a safety."

SIDELINED

Bills receiver Sammy Watkins was spotted walking with a cane in the locker room after hurting his left ankle against Cincinnati. Bills DT Kyle Williams was carted off the field with a left knee injury. Another Bills wideout, Marquise Goodwin, left with a rib injury. ... Pittsburgh QB Michael Vick went out with a right hamstring injury. ... Denver WR Emmanuel Sanders hurt his left shoulder while making a catch. ... Among those who left games with concussions were Chiefs DE Mike DeVito and WR Jeremy Maclin, Jets CB Buster Skrine, and Bills RT Seantrel Henderson. ... Titans C Brian Schwenke dislocated his left ankle and was carted straight to the locker room. ... Chargers receiver Keenan Allen left vs. Green Bay with a hip injury.
