-Tom Brady, Patriots, tore apart the Jaguars for 358 yards, completing 33 of 42 throws, with two touchdowns, in a 51-17 rout. He got his 400th career TD pass.
-Andy Dalton, Bengals, went 20 for 32 for 383 yards and three touchdowns, including the winner with 2:10 left in a 28-24 victory at Baltimore. Joe Flacco twice connected with Steve Smith for touchdowns for the Ravens.
-Cam Newton, Panthers, completed 20 of 31 passes for 315 yards with a pair of touchdowns to tight end Greg Olsen and also ran for a score as the Panthers defeated the Saints 27-22.
-Matt Ryan, Falcons, was 24 of 36 for 285 yards and two TDs in a comeback 39-28 decision against Dallas.
-Carson Palmer, Cardinals, threw for 311 yards and a pair of TDs to Larry Fitzgerald. Palmer was 20 of 32 in a 47-7 rout of the 49ers.
-Tyrod Taylor, Bills, had a big first road start, going 21 of 29 for 277 yards and three TDs in a 41-14 romp at Miami.

-Adrian Peterson, Vikings, Peterson plowed through San Diego's defense for 126 yards and two touchdowns on 20 rushes in three quarters, and the Vikings trampled Philip Rivers and the injury-depleted Chargers 31-14.
-Ryan Mathews, Eagles, rushed for 108 yards on 25 carries starting in place of the injured DeMarco Murray, and also caught a TD pass in a 24-17 victory over the Jets.
-Alfred Blue, Texans, had 139 yards rushing with a score in a 19-9 victory over Tampa Bay.
-Devonta Freeman, Falcons, ran for 141 yards and three scores in a 39-28 win against Dallas. Freeman had no trouble with the league's No. 1 rushing defense, getting 89 yards in the second half. He also had 52 yards receiving.
-LeGarrette Blount, Patriots, rushed for three 1-yard scores and 78 yards in a 51-17 rout of Jacksonville.

-A.J. Green, Bengals, finished with 10 catches for a career-high 227 yards and two scores, including the winning 7-yarder with 2:10 to go in a 28-24 victory at Baltimore. Steve Smith Sr. had 13 catches for 186 yards and two scores for the Ravens.
-Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals, caught a pair of touchdowns passes and gained 134 yards on nine receptions in a 47-7 win over the 49ers.
-Rob Gronkowski caught four passes for 101 yards for the Patriots, scoring once in the 51-17 win over Jacksonville.
-Julio Jones, Falcons, had his third straight 135-plus-yard game to start the season, the first receiver to ever do so, finishing with 164 yards and a clinching 2-yard score in a 39-28 win at Dallas. Jones had 137 of his yards in the second half, including a 45-yard touchdown.
-Keenan Allen, Chargers, had 12 catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-14 loss at Minnesota.

-Darren Sproles, Eagles, had an 89-yard punt return for a score and added a 1-yard touchdown run in a 24-17 victory over the Jets.
-Stephen Gostkowski, Patriots, set the record for consecutive extra points with 425. He broke the record set by Matt Stover from 1996 until he retired in 2009. Gostkowski has led the NFL in scoring in each of the past three seasons. His only miss came on a block by the Titans in 2006.
-Rookie Tyler Lockett, Seahawks, returned the second-half kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown to spark a 26-0 win over Chicago. He also has a 57-yard punt runback for a TD this season.
-Marcus Murphy, Saints, returned a punt 74 yards for a TD in a 27-22 loss at Carolina.

-LB Chad Greenway, Vikings, scooted 91 yards with a fumble for a touchdown in a 31-14 win against San Diego.

Kickoff in St. Louis was delayed about 26 minutes by a small fire near a corner of the south end zone in the Edward Jones Dome from sparks emitted by a pyrotechnic display during Rams player introductions.
