Drop-off likely for Peyton Manning and other big names

Last week, we broke down four players who could graduate to NFL stardom in 2015. This week, that coin gets flipped to look at three NFL superstars whose performance levels are likely to decline this season.

Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

Manning is one of the most prolific quarterbacks in NFL history, but there are many factors suggesting Denver's offense won't be anywhere near as Manning-centric this season.

Two elements stand out. The first is the 10 interceptions Manning threw on medium route-depth passes (aerials traveling 11-19 yards downfield) the past season. That was by far the most picks at that route-depth level (Philip Rivers' seven interceptions were second-worst), and it wasn't a matter of bad luck causing the turnovers.
