In previous years, my article on the biggest pivot points in the draft has focused on specific picks and trades that could potentially alter how the rest of the first-round selections could play out. But this year's draft is different, and I believe the pivot points actually come in the form of certain players -- not picks -- for whom teams might move up to draft. There are two reasons for this: This is far from the deepest draft class I've seen, and there are fewer outstanding players than in years past. At some of the most-needed positions for teams drafting in the top half of the first round, there are few prospects -- and in some cases just one prospect -- who project as very good NFL players.
