GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Police in Florida have arrested Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion on felony charges of possession of marijuana and a firearm.
Guion was arrested on Tuesday night during a traffic stop in his hometown of Starke, Florida. Authorities on Wednesday also said that a bag found in Guion's truck contained $190,000 cash.
The Packers said the team was "aware of a serious matter involving Letroy Guion," but had no other comment. The team said it had not yet spoken with the seven-year veteran.
Guion's agent Seth Katz declined comment and referred inquiries to the team.
Green Bay signed Guion to a one-year deal as a free agent last offseason. He turned into a key cog on the defensive line.
