Bengals receiving corps takes another hit

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Bengals will open the playoffs Sunday without tight end Jermaine Gresham or receiver A.J. Green because of injuries.

Both are inactive for the wild-card round against Indianapolis (11-5).

Green was ruled out Saturday with a concussion. Gresham is out with a back injury. The two have combined for 131 receptions, 1,501 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

Brandon Tate will start in place of Green, and Kevin Brock will replace Gresham in the lineup.

Cincinnati (10-5-1) also deactivates quarterback A.J. McCarron, cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris, offensive lineman Tanner Hawkinson, defensive lineman Devon Still and receiver James Wright.

Offensive linemen Xavier Nixon, A.Q. Shipley and Hugh Thornton, cornerbacks Jalil Brown and Sheldon Price, linebacker Henoc Muamba and defensive lineman Zach Kerr are inactive for the Colts.
