Houston's J.J. Watt has 11½ sacks and five touchdowns to make him the first player to have at least 10 sacks and three or more touchdowns in a season since 1982, when sacks became an official statistic. He's also the first NFL player with at least three offensive touchdowns (three receiving) and two or more touchdowns on takeaways (one interception return, one fumble return) in a season since Joe Golding of the Boston Yanks in 1948. ... Andrew Luck threw for 370 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in the Indianapolis Colts' 49-27 win over Washington, breaking Peyton Manning's franchise record for most 300-yard games in one season with 10. He also became the fifth NFL player since 1970 to win 30 regular-season games in a player's first three seasons, and joined the short list of players to throw for 4,000 yards in two of their first seasons, a club that previously included only Manning and Dan Marino. St. Louis scored 38 points in the first half, tied for second most in franchise history, in a 52-0 rout of Oakland on Sunday. The 38-point halftime lead was the largest in franchise history, one more than against Green Bay in 1980, and the final margin was the second largest for the Rams, topped only by a 59-0 victory over Atlanta in 1976. The Raiders (1-11) took their second-worst defeat in the franchise's 54-year history, falling just shy of a 55-0 rout at the hands of the Houston Oilers in 1961 in the AFL. The Rams scored touchdowns on their first five possessions, then got a field goal on the sixth midway through the second quarter to top their previous-best scoring total for a game this season.

Blake Bortles notched his first game-winning drive, and Jacksonville managed its largest comeback ever, rallying from a 21-point deficit to beat the New York Giants 25-24 on Sunday for their second victory of the season. The game marked the fourth time this season that a team has overcome a deficit of at least 21 points to win, tied for the most of any season in NFL history. Bortles is the third rookie starting QB to help his team overcome a deficit of at least 21 points to win since at least 1970, joining Detroit's Matthew Stafford (2209) and Tennessee's Vince Young (2006).

Cleveland rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel provided a lift by scoring his first touchdown on a 10-yard run, but it wasn't enough in the Browns' 26-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Manziel came in with 12:01 left after starter Brian Hoyer threw his second interception, which set up Dan Carpenter's 34-yard field goal that put Buffalo ahead 20-3. The Browns responded behind Manziel, who enjoyed his most significant playing time of the season and in his first appearance since a 23-21 loss to Baltimore in Week 3. He finished 5 of 8 for 63 yards, and two carries for 13 yards. After going 0 for 1 in a 26-24 win over New Orleans in Week 2, Manziel's first NFL completion was a 12-yard pass to Miles Austin on his first attempt Sunday.

In a show of solidarity for protesters in nearby Ferguson, Missouri, five St. Louis players stood with their hands up before trotting onto the field during pregame introductions. There have been riots, looting and buildings burned in Ferguson since a grand jury declined last Monday to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed Michael Brown in August. "Everything about the situation touched me because it could have happened to any of us," said tight end Jared Cook, who joined wide receivers Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey and Chris Givens in the pregame gesture. After Tre Mason scored on an 8-yard run in the fourth quarter, he and Britt raised their hands together.

The last time a team scored on two blocked punts in the same NFL game was on Sept. 30, 1990, when Kansas City did it against Cleveland. This was the fifth time it happened in league history, according to STATS research dating to 1940. It was also the first blocked punt return touchdown by the Vikings since Oct. 12, 1986, the longest active NFL streak without one. Minnesota is also the first team since the 1975 Detroit Lions (Sept. 21 at Green Bay) to return two blocked punts for touchdowns in a half.

Tennessee quarterback Zach Mettenberger injured his right shoulder in the third quarter against Houston on Sunday. The rookie quarterback left the game when driven to the ground by J.J. Watt. Jake Locker replaced him and threw an interception on his first play. Houston's Johnathan Joseph injured his Achilles tendon in the third quarter and didn't return, but said after the game that he was OK. The Titans said that wide receiver Justin Hunter has a lacerated spleen and will spend the night in a Houston hospital. ... Giants right tackle Geoff Schwartz, playing in place of starter Justin Pugh, injured his left ankle and left on a cart. His replacement, James Brewer, also left with a concussion. Running back Rashad Jennings went down with an ankle injury. ...
