Leodis McKelvin on IR

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills placed cornerback Leodis McKelvin on injured reserve Monday after he fractured his ankle in last Thursday night's loss to the Miami Dolphins.

McKelvin fell awkwardly on his ankle as he missed a tackle on a 33-yard Lamar Miller run in the second quarter. He was replaced by Corey Graham, who is expected to take McKelvin's place in the starting lineup when the Bills host the New York Jets on Sunday.

McKelvin started nine games this season and is tied for third in the NFL with four interceptions. He made headlines following last Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs when he said the Bills would go to Miami and "beat that ass." Buffalo lost 22-9 to the Dolphins.

The Bills signed safety Bacarri Rambo, who was waived by the Washington Redskins earlier this season, to take McKelvin's place on the 53-man roster.
