The Buffalo Bills may have stumbled their way to a 17-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs but cornerback Leodis McKelvin was not lacking in confidence after the game Sunday as he looked forward to Thursday night's match-up with the Miami Dolphins.
"S---, we're going to go out and beat that ass. Point blank. Period," McKelvin told reporters.
The Bills and Dolphins both dropped to 5-4 with losses Sunday, with Miami falling to the Detroit Lions, 20-16.
With the Bills clinging to a three-point lead in the fourth quarter against the Chiefs, McKelvin fumbled on a punt return. The Chiefs recovered and took the lead two plays later on an eight-yard Alex Smith touchdown run.
"S--- happens," McKelvin said. "If you f--- up on any kind of thing you've got going on ... this is my job. It's my job. I take this s--- to heart."
