Seahawks to wear helmet decals

NFL, Seattle Seahawks

RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks will honor Marysville-Pilchuck High School by having a "MP" decal on the back of their helmets for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field. The staff, coaches and inactive players will wear a "MP" lapel pin.

The Seahawks organization hosted the Marysville-Pilchuck High School football team Tuesday, welcoming the players to their facility four days after a tragic school shooting left three students dead.

Fans at the game Sunday are invited to sign oversize cards, staged in Touchdown City and at the north end of the West Plaza of the stadium, to lend their support. The cards will be delivered to Marysville-Pilchuck High School next week.

The Seahawks tweeted this photo of a helmet with the decal.

A moment of silence will take place before the National Anthem.
