A violent collision between Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and a teammate and Philadelphia receiver Jeremy Maclin sent a chill through both sidelines late in the second quarter of Arizona's 24-20 win over Philadelphia on Sunday.

Peterson and teammate Deone Bucannon collided with Maclin on a pass play. Peterson lay face down after the hit before rolling over to his back. Medical personal checked on Peterson, who eventually sat up and gingerly walked toward the sideline. He was then led to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion. Peterson did not return to the game.

Maclin lay on the field for a few seconds before heading to the sideline. He returned later in the quarter after clearing concussion protocol. Maclin was battered by the Cardinals for the entire game, but still managed to turn in an outstanding performance with 12 catches for 187 yards and two TDs.

Cleveland's sputtering offense lost one of its top options in the first half of its 23-13 victory over Oakland when Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron sustained a concussion. Cameron was injured when he was struck in the head by Raiders safety Brandian Ross while making a diving catch for 21 yards. Ross was assessed a personal foul for his blow to a defenseless receiver, giving the Browns a first down at the Oakland 9.

Cameron stayed in a seated position on the field before walking to the bench. He was then escorted under his power to Cleveland's locker room for further evaluation. Cameron had three catches for 40 yards before he was hurt. He has 13 catches this season after getting 80 a year ago.

Browns defensive back K'Waun Williams went out with a neck injury. He recently returned from a concussion. Raiders backup cornerback Chimdi Chekwa left with a hamstring injury.

Baltimore lost a close game to the Bengals 27-24, and also left Cincinnati with a couple of battered receivers. Ravens receiver Torrey Smith ran into a cluster of players in the second half and was tested for a concussion, but returned. Receiver Michael Campanaro pulled a hamstring in the third quarter and didn't return. Cornerback Jimmy Smith left with a foot injury during the Bengals' opening drive. Ravens coach John Harbaugh provided no specifics on the injuries.

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict left during Baltimore's opening series after hurting his left knee but returned. RG Kevin Zeitler reinjured his right calf, which forced him to miss three games.

The Rams' 34-7 loss to the Chiefs was painful enough, but St. Louis also left the game banged-up on both sides of the ball. Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold left the game with a shoulder injury, defensive end Chris Long with a knee injury and center Scott Wells with an undisclosed injury. The Rams also lost receiver Brian Quick (arm) early in the game and free safety Rodney McLeod (knee). Chiefs cornerback Jamell Fleming and linebacker Josh Martin left with hamstring injuries.

Panthers safety Thomas DeCoud injured his hamstring and left in the second half of Carolina's 13-9 loss to Seattle. His backup, Tre Boston, gave up Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson's winning touchdown pass in the final moments.

Titans receiver Nate Washington sprained a joint in his shoulder in Tennessee's 30-16 loss to Houston.

Bucs running back Doug Martin, who gained 27 yards on 10 carries, injured his ankle and left in the third quarter of Tampa Bay's 19-13 loss to Minnesota in overtime.

Indianapolis cornerback Vontae Davis (knee) and linebacker Erik Walden (hip) were injured in the Colts' 51-34 loss to Pittsburgh and did not return to the game.
