MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles will not play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Charles suffered what the Chiefs called a high ankle sprain in the first quarter of last week's game against the Denver Broncos.
Charles has played little for the Chiefs in their first two games. He has just nine carries for 23 yards and five pass receptions for 23 yards.
Charles will be replaced in Sunday's game as the featured back by Knile Davis, who rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns after Charles left the lineup last week.
