Chiefs' Jamaal Charles questionable

NFL, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs listed running back Jamaal Charles as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Miami. According to the league's injury guidelines, that means Charles has a 50-50 chance of playing.

Charles practiced on Friday for the second straight day after sitting out Wednesday's workout. Charles suffered what the Chiefs called a high ankle sprain in last weekend's game against the Broncos in Denver.

"He did practice and he moved around and did a decent job," coach Andy Reid said. "We'll see how it all works out. He looked a little sore but he did OK. He worked yesterday but he loosened up.

"We appreciate his effort. He came in and pushed through this thing. If he can't go he can't go. The other guys have practiced."

Charles declined comment after practice.

After a warmup period at practice, Charles ran some light pass patterns and caught passes with the rest of the Chiefs' receivers and running backs. Knile Davis was the running back for the first snap of practice with the starting offense, but Charles took the next two snaps.

The Chiefs said Charles was a limited practice participant.
