It is extremely unlikely that Chris Johnson will play for the Titans next season, as reports have surfaced that the team has put him on the trading block. A trade is also unlikely, colleague Paul Kuharsky writes, given Johnson's expensive contract. It appears inevitable that Tennessee will have to release Johnson, making him a free agent. When Darren Sproles was released this past week, I saw more fits for him than I could list. And with Toby Gerhart and Rashad Jennings included in my top 2014 bargain free agents, it certainly appears there should be a "buyers' market" for free-agent running backs this offseason. Compounding matters for Johnson, there is also a deep running back draft class. Unlike with Sproles, I am struggling to find a good landing spot for Johnson, but a few options make sense.
