Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White was arrested early Tuesday morning for failure to appear in court, a representative from the Gwinnett County Jail confirmed.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, White allegedly failed to appear in court on a traffic charge. The AJC reported that White had an outstanding warrant related to a charge for "non-transparent material on windows."
White could not be reached for comment Tuesday morning after being released on bond at 6 a.m.
The Falcons issued a statement Tuesday morning saying they were aware of the incident and that "we anticipate this will be resolved shortly."
White, who turns 33 in November, is expected to sign a contract extension this offseason. The four-time Pro Bowl selection caught 63 passes for 711 yards and three touchdowns last season.
