McCoy: Give me Revis over Sherman

You can add LeSean McCoy to the list of people critical of Richard Sherman.

In an interview on Sirius XM's "Evan & Phillips" on Thursday, McCoy -- the star running back of the Philadelphia Eagles, who led the NFL in rushing this season -- was asked to name a player he would not want on his team.

"Sherman," McCoy said, adding, "I would take Darrelle Revis, he's better."

Sherman, the Seattle Seahawks' outspoken cornerback, continues to come under fire after his controversial outburst following the NFC Championship Game, in which he proclaimed, "I'm the best corner in the game!" and then ripped 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree.

Earlier Thursday, San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick, in an interview on ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike," called Sherman's behavior "ridiculous."

Sherman and Revis have a history, as they engaged in a well-publicized Twitter feud a year ago. Revis also criticized Sherman's behavior following the NFC title game.

"I didn't think that was good on his part," Revis told the Tampa Bay Times.

Revis and Sherman are regarded by many of their peers as the top two cornerbacks in the league. But McCoy certainly has a preference.

"If you watch Darrelle Revis' tape, if you take his best clips, it's not even close," he said.

McCoy did add that he likes Sherman's confidence, but then repeated he wouldn't want Sherman on the Eagles.

"Not in the locker room in Philadelphia, no," McCoy said. "It'd be too much."
