The previous mark was held by Randy Moss at 30 years, 222 days. ... San Diego's Antonio Gates had three catches for 21 yards in the Chargers' 41-38 win at Kansas City, making him the fourth TE in NFL history with 700 catches and 9,000 yards. ... Chicago's Matt Forte had 77 yards on 16 carries and has 6,178 with the Bears, passing Neal Anderson for second on the franchise career list behind Walter Payton, who had 16,726.

ALL TIED UP
Minnesota and Green Bay played to a 26-26 draw on Sunday, the first tie in the NFL since a game between St. Louis and San Francisco ended 24-24 on Nov. 11, 2012. It was the first game to end in a tie under the new overtime rule instituted that continues the extra period if both teams open with field goals. Mason Crosby hit from 20 yards at 10:28 of the extra period and Blair Walsh connected from 35 with 3:54 left. A touchdown by either team would have ended the game. Jacksonville and Houston both kicked field goals to open OT in a game on Nov. 18, 2012, then the Texans won it with a touchdown.

Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' 26-26 tie with Green Bay. Playing in his 100th career game, Peterson has 9,846 yards rushing, the third-most in NFL history for a player's first 100 games. He passed Barry Sanders (9,766) trails only Eric Dickerson (10,818) and Jim Brown (10,403). Peterson also has rushed for 86 touchdowns, the fifth-most in a player's first 100 games.

MR. VERSATILITY
St. Louis rookie wide receiver-punt returner Tavon Austin had a 65-yard touchdown run in the Rams' 42-21 win over Chicago. He had touchdown receptions of 81 and 57 yards and a 98-yard punt-return touchdown in Week 10, the Rams' previous game. Austin is the first player in NFL history to record a punt return TD of 95-plus yards, a receiving score of 80-plus yards and a rushing touchdown of 65 yards or more in a single season. He also joined Hall of Famers Jim Brown (1963) and Gale Sayers (1965) as the only players in NFL history to score four touchdowns of at least 50 yards in a two-game span in a single season.

Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson had seven catches for 115 yards in the Lions' 24-21 loss to Tampa Bay, giving him 861 yards receiving in his past five games -- the most in NFL history for such a span in one season. The previous mark was 822 yards set by Charley Hennigan in 1961.

COMEBACK CAM
Cam Newton led a late comeback for the second time in a week, converting a fourth-and-10 situation at his 20 with a completion to keep alive Carolina's final possession, and the Panthers' touchdown with 43 seconds left beat Miami 20-16. The Panthers (8-3) overcame a 16-3 first-half deficit for their seventh win in a row, their longest streak since 2003. Newton led Carolina past New England with a late comeback last Monday night.

BROTHERLY LOVE
The Long brothers -- Chicago guard Kyle and St. Louis defensive end Chris -- lined up close to each other all day and were the focal point of one skirmish in the first half of the Rams' 42-21 win Sunday. After Josh McCown threw an incomplete pass to fullback Tony Fiammetta in the second half, Fiammetta and Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson squared off, causing players from both teams to rumble. Kyle Long raced down the field to get to Rams end William Hayes, and had him down before his big brother intervened. Chris Long, who had taken the play off, raced off the sideline to corral Kyle Long and drag him from the fight to the sideline.

Green Bay backup quarterback Matt Flynn threw for 218 yards and helped spark a rally from a 16-point deficit early in the fourth quarter to the Minnesota Vikings. But the teams could only muster field goals in overtime and had to settle for a 26-26 draw Sunday. Flynn, Aaron Rodgers' former backup who was re-signed last week, replaced the ineffective Scott Tolzien and finished 21 of 36 for 218 yards and a touchdown.

The Kansas City Chiefs could be without their top two pass rushers for a while after Tamba Hali sprained his right ankle and Justin Houston sprained his elbow in a 41-38 loss to San Diego on Sunday. Neither player was in the locker room after the game, but Chiefs coach Andy Reid said both of them were scheduled to have MRI exams on Monday. ... The Chargers could be without top running back Ryan Mathews for a while after he left the game with a hamstring injury. ...
