Nov 22: Charles had 17 carries for 58 yards and caught a touchdown pass in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over Pittsburgh. Charles also took the opening kickoff of the game for a 97-yard touchdown. The Steelers boast a tough rush defense, so it's not much of a surprise that Charles was bottled up a bit. Charles was able to contribute in other ways, however, with his short touchdown grab and long kickoff return. Kolby Smith had only one carry for three yards and left the game with an ankle injury. If Smith's injury turns out to be anything significant, Charles won't have much competition for carries with third-string Dantrell Savage already out with his own ankle injury.
