This is a good pickup for the Patriots with little risk and high possible reward for the return game and as a spot RB or slot receiver.

He's got blazing speed, good moves. He will need to cut down the turnovers, but the potential upside for the return game is worth the risk. Giving Brady and that offense better starting field position is going to make defenses very uncomfortable. Just the way I like them. Go Patriots!

Good luck to Jeff Demps. He's a special teams guy in all likelihood to start. This isn't just a speed guy like Blake from Jamaica, who looks like a RB. The kid actually has football experience. It'll be interesting to see how this works out for him.

he won't be playing receiver. He'll be mostly a return specialist and might work into the game at the slot on occassion or as a change of pace back.

Pats cut Joseph Addai at the beginning of camp who most thought would be on the team along with Riddley, Vereen AND Woodhead. Not sure where you come up with the dream that Woody is going because this kid was signed. He just takes the place of Addai in essesence. Woodhead isn't going anywhere.

Notice the people who said Demps would make an impact for the Patriots on that poll are mostly all from the SEC... So the others probably have no clue. I saw some guy asking if Demps could catch and hold onto the ball, the best way to describe him is like the CBS announcer said: "Demps is a football player running track, not a track star playing football."
