http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_21085119/elvis-dumervil-arrest-miami-road-rage The issue here is whether Dumervil did or did not flash a gun. Now we have mixed reports, though I'd like to know who these "sources" are, hometown writer and all.

Another freakin' idiot/moron in the form of a pro athlete! Millions of dollars yet acting like you live in the hood with no money. Come to think of it, I know people in the hood that are more street smart than that. How dumb can Dumervil be? You deserve to lose your job. The rest of us in the real world would.

Man they should include specific language in NFL contracts stating: "You are not allowed to carry a gun on you, if you do we reserve the right to hook jumper cables up to your nuts and shock you for 4-8 hours. If you want protection hire a professional body guard. The NFL and its associates are not against people exercising their 4th amendment right to bear arms, we are, however, skeptical of the guy we just promised to pay 40 million dollars to, who feels the need to run around with one strapped in his waste band while driving to Victoria Secrets to pick up some lingerie."

Typical shoddy football related reporting, no mention what so ever of what the Victoria Secret employee was wearing or when their next TV special is going to be.

Elvis has left the building. I have a feeling he has seen his last snap as an NFL football player.

Based off what has been in the media so far that is one huge step into the twilight zone. He will be suspended for maybe up to 4 games at most. Smart money says he gets a deal in Miami.

The bigger problem are all the drinking and driving arrests. Remember even the newly minted NFL professional athletes are being popped for drinking and driving. Guns are bad no doubt. Driving a 5,000 + pound car while under the influence can take out a bus load of people.

Your probably right, but I have a weird feeling this will be a story that is made an example of. The sports radio in KC was talking earlier on how this doesn't even have a feeling of a big story. How society has almost became immune to NFL players getting in trouble. Which just got me thinking that Gooddell is gonna make an example out of someone else to go along with the saints.

If the lady had been wearing a hoodie and holding a pack of Skittles, Dumervil walks. This is Florida, after all.

Point proven once again that some of these morons will never learn from the example before them. I'll bet somewhere along the line, he or his lawyer will say how it is "society's" fault that he did this.

After suspending Jonathan Vilma a full year for playing football, Roger Goodell should dish out the same punishment for Dumervil.

You wish. Not a bad idea yet Vilma was part of a three year investigation. This one has to be played out. So far we know very little about this case.

I swear you would think some people are constitutionally incapable of using a holster. What is this world coming to when the best place to put your gun is in the elastic band of your boxers with the barrel two inches from your $@%!$?
