I understand people are hating on Jones and I understand that the two victims should be awarded financial benefits for their sufferings. This just exacerbates how flawed and corrupt our legal system is. How can you possible place the hands of fate onto select individuals where no empirical evidence is found to determine a verdict?? It is impossible to not feel emotional and with the smooth speaking skills of a lawyer, anything can be perceived. I am not saying he isn't guilty. He may have actually put out that hit, but without any evidence, we don't know if he was or was not. If he is innocent, he is now another victim in this crime.

There has to be more to this story than what ESPN published. I can't stand thugs like Pac Man but.... Even with the Proponderence of Evidence standards in a civil trial this seems weak and hard to prove. This would be like Ronald Reagan suing Jodie Foster for supposedly "inspiring" John Hinckley to shoot him in 1981. You really can't be responsible for the strangers around you.

Leave it to a scumbag lawyer to make it sound like Pacman is the victim here. Pacman is still playing football yet one of the victims will never walk again. Poor Pacman!!!!!!!

This guy couldn't even make house payments when he was in Tennessee. Let a house foreclose and didn't make payments while he was living in it! How do you get a big pay day and then pick out a house, but don't make payments like a squatter, then let it go into foreclosure? This guy did not have a proper upbringing and now he is in a bit of a sticky wicket!

At this point, i don't really care if Pacman was involved or not. The thing that sickens me is how you can be found INNOCENT in criminal court, and then turnaround and lose everything you have being found GUILTY in cival court. Only in America!

why should PACman play in the nfl, make all that money, when the plaintiffs will just take it all?? His attorney should work a big settlement offer with the opposing counsel--if not, they may get little.

Ok, I'm trying to understand this. You can be sued by someone because you were WITH the person that did the crime and actually shot you but said, "They made me do it"? This is getting crazy.
