AFC's most versatile players | NFC's most versatile playersIn today's NFL, spread offenses and defenses with multiple fronts are commonplace. Coaches crave offensive players who can not only play wid... Read full story
6/10 of these players were from the AFC East. if you include Baltimore, that's 7 East Coast teams that make up this list. And ESPN scoffs at people who say they're bias? Just another example of it along with countless others. It's not even worth getting mad about anymore because its been happening forever. Some things well never change. Ya know if you're going to try to attempt writing an article that says most versatile in the AFC, that means the entire AFC. As if to add more credibility on this, look at the NFC one, very diverse and the best division (NFC North) represents the most players at 4. I'm not complaining by a long shot because if I don't like it I don't have to read it, but C'mon man theres definitely bias at ESPN. Has been forever 334 Days ago

Huge Texans fan here... and I love the James Casey love! He really is that good and I'm excited to see more of the kid now that Dresson has moved on to Denver. The Saints know all about this kid's ability when he's getting the proper amount of touches. 334 Days ago

Spiller didn't do anything until F-Jax went down. So those end of season numbers are inflated; he would have come nowhere close to that if he was still playing second fiddle. My gut feeling is that F-Jax still gets that bulk of the carries next season because he was that good last year and Spiller is left picking up the scraps again. 334 Days ago

Nate Solder was not a tight end in college. Sure, he went to Colorado as one, but he finished his last few years as an all-american tackle. 334 Days ago

Seahawks and Niners are in the NFC bro. As for the Raiders, they have Darren McFadden who, when healthy, is one of the most explosive running backs in the game. I'm not disagreeing with their list. You'd just expect a wider frame of reference. Ya know if you're going to try to attempt writing an article that says most versatile in the AFC, that means the entire AFC. what does explosive have to do with versitile, u need to stop reading versitile as good, it just means they can play multipile roles, they could easily be mediocre at al these roles. smelling smoke plz 331 Days ago

Where is Antonio Brown from Pitt? He became the first player in NFL history to have 1000 yards receiving and returning kicks...now versatile enough for Gary Clayton? Meanwhile a tackle who maybe some day can line up at TE on the goalline makes this list? 334 Days ago

Wow, just when I thought the Tebow crap at ESPN couldn't get any worse, I see this sewage. So, Tebow MIGHT be a wildcat QB, WR?
Here's a newsflash for you, Cribbs does everything that Tebow does, except at a Pro-Bowl level. He returns kicks and punts, plays WR, wildcat QB.
Nate Solder the on this list? I guess you really have to struggle to find a Patriot to put on this list. 334 Days ago

interesting how diverse the "versatile" players in the AFC are, while the NFC was like 8 punt/kick returners who also played their position. Don't know what it means, just interesting note. 335 Days ago

Omffg tells u alot about NEW ENGLAND they covet versatile players julian elderman would never be rated higher than a 75 at any of the positions he plays, stop being but hurt over nothing, versatility doesn't make ur team the best or nothing.just means u have 1 player that can fill many roles for ur team, if anything means u have less talent cause u need 1 person to fill multiple voids as opposed to having multiple decent players 331 Days ago
