The Patriots now have three ex-Redskins in their receiving lineup. LOL.

Maybe that's our problem, name me five receivers besides Branch and Brown that were on any of the super bowl teams... and don't use the internet

Why is it that other teams let guys like this go the the Pats. As if they need anymore offensive help. I really dont see why the Redskins let this guy go.

All you NE fans never blame the real person at fault! Your beloved Brady fell to the pressure of the Giants front four punishing him all game. It was a crappy pass and thats it!

the giant's defense outplayed the pat's defense. let's keep it simple.

i do because i gotta get the word out that your QB is the one to blame. im a Giants fan and feel that Welker is getting the bad rap when the pass was garbage. Kinda like when Buckner missed the grounder, yet Bob Shirley was one who threw the wild pitch that tied the game. You Boston fans always have stuff backwards. Thats why your teams are secondary to NY.

Take another look, it was as you say not a great pass but he got his hands on it and that is supposed to be enough, especially for Wes Welker.

Speaking of backwards, don't you mean New Jersey?

I guess BB is deeply disappointed in Welker by that SB drop (remember Asante?) and is considering his replacement. I can assure you Pats won't overpay Welker, no way.

regardless if it wasn't the best pass 99% of the time he catches that pass

not true, the game was fractionally won at best. a well played game by both teams. buck up and sound like a gentlemen. i respect the giants as a very good club even if Welker made the catch and the pats won. I tip my hat to the giants for doing what they had to do. I tip my hat to the pats for getting that close to winning it all. Both are champions in my eyes.

Jabroni A loser, poser, lame-a@#. One who talks the talk, but could never walk the walk. One who talks s@!% and doesn't back it up, but rather ends up eating their s@!% in return. A f@#$%# '$@%!.

I love Welker and I hope they can work something out with him but I am also glad that we have some tall and fast wide receivers. I can not wait for the season to begin

I've been saying for months now that the signing of these receivers is a message to both Welker and the rest of the league. They are prepared to go without Welker and they will have a solid corp of receivers. Welker can sign or move on. If he doesn't sign. the $9.5 million can be spent a number of different ways.

who cares what NE does or who they get? The sorry Sox try it all the time and still cant beat the Yankees...not even close. (27 champs) Wake up Pats and take a piece of what not to do from the Sox. You guys cant see the Giants or Yanks. Cant see the rings fellas!

it has to do with anything you guys try isnt gonna work! you know how badly u guys wanted to beat the Giants so u could talk about Giants being"lucky". It didnt happen cause NY is far superior.

Common sense says they will eventually cut a few receivers, Ocho being the most likely place to start. However, with BB you never know. Perhaps we will see the debut of a new 6 receiver package this year!

With probably the exception of Stallworth, their receiving corps features receivers who have been #1 receivers for various teams around the league......I say Stallworth and Ocho get cut by the end of the pre-season.
