wait a minute here people. Contracts are made to be broken or re-wroked to meet the demands of the job. For you NYs out there, just look at the contracts issued by the state and city to fix the Subway. How many times has the contractor submitted their bid, signed the contract, started the work and then ask for more funds due to numerous reasons...nex thing you know its 20 million over budget....Contracts are re worked all the time. Your cell phone bill, car and house note, school loans...ect.... 48 Days ago

I never said it had to be re-worked but dont get mad at Osi for tryin to work it out for his best interest. you would do the same if you could get a cheaper cell phone bill if the one you signed two yeas ago was outdated and didnt have the unlimited data plan 48 Days ago

yea, what about that 7% loan on the house that you goit 4 years ago and now can get 3% on right??? same thing 48 Days ago

His last contract was a proper contract. He outperformed his yearly salary in 3 of the years, and was totally useless in the others. It averages out to being properly paid. 48 Days ago

I love OSI. And he is great at what he does, pass rushing. And I completely understand his viewpoint but this contract he complains about was originally front loaded and a very good deal for him insurance wise. He also didn't hear the Giants front office complaining for him to pay them back when he missed a third of the season in 06, 7 games last year, and when he flat out stunk in 09. He also should realize how much better he is because of the talent the Giants surround him with. He is never double teamed. This is a sport where switching teams is often a career ender so he would probably end up making more money, winning more and prolonging his career staying with the Giants anyway 48 Days ago

Hopefully Clint Sintum remains healthy this year. That kid can rush the passer and can take Osi's place in the NASCAR package. 48 Days ago

Barden's been at the voluntary workouts, and I have a feeling he's going to be really focused since he has even more competition for the #3 WR and this is a contract year for him. 48 Days ago

I will state the obvious. Osi has no $ left. He is broke like so many of his fellow NFL players. These guys are plain stupid. At 30 he will never get the big money again. If someone trades for him and pays him they are crazy. He will end up playing bcs he can't afford to shell out penalty money for sitting. Next year he will be a free agent and the shocking truth that he is 31 and nobody will pay the big bucks is going to sting for a while. Bottom line this guy should be set for life but he is instead desperate and angry. I will not make his 4 million salary in my life so who gives a crap about this loser 48 Days ago

Well not only is this an absurd claim based on nothing, but Osi actually seems like one of the smarter guys in the NFL 48 Days ago

I think it's funny how clueless some of you live life. I could tell you everything about your financial status from my computer with simple software. I make money off of knowledge that is free to find. Problem is most are too stupid to find it. Enjoy your 9-5 48 Days ago

I am sick of all this talk. My motto is "talk is cheap, play the game." I expect Osi to stop talking and play. I expect the media to stop talking about Osi and do something more important. Also, I expect the media to arrive 5 minutes early to my press conferences or I will fine them. 48 Days ago

At first I wondered if ESPN had made a mistake and reprinted an article from last season but then realized Osi is back at it again. Strap on your helmet, shut your mouth and tackle somebody. Leave the contract stuff to when your current one actually expires. 48 Days ago

So, Osi knows the Giants dont have the money to pay him. Then he reacts to an offer as if the Giants were trying to low ball him. Well, duh. They dont have enough to go around this year. He's wanted a new contract almost every year since the 3rd year of his rookie contract. 48 Days ago

When his contract expires after this coming year. Last year he made a bunch of threats, he caved, came back and got hurt and then came back again and played pretty well. 48 Days ago
Mr.Randy Watson
He needs to go and NYG brass should have addressed this before the draft and gotten something for him and also create $3.9Mil towards the other players that will require extensions. It's a year in year out deal with Osi and both sides enjoy the posturing. 48 Days ago
