Three days of hype and hoopla surrounding the NFL draft now have left us with the same basic question we face every year: What are these players going to do next? Some will go on to enjoy successful c... Read full story
Poe is going into a perfect situation, He's going to be a star at KC ............ 17 Days ago

I agree like him allot for what KC needed out of the draft. He will do a great job at picking up blocks and freeing up the linebackers so they can make plays. 17 Days ago

These analyses are really bad. I hate to sound like an internet troll here, but the blurb about Trent Richardson is terrible thinking, if it is thinking at all. Yes, the Browns had a terrible passing attack last year. To say that Richardson is a "bad fit" because of that is like looking at a new car on a car lot and saying that it won't work because it is not already moving. teams, like machines are put together piece by piece. Sometimes when important pieces are missing, the machine won't function. This analysis makes no attempt to understand why the offense did not function. No offseason with a new offense and a QB with no experience in it was part of it. Injury to starting WR's, TE's, RB's, and OL, multiples in each case contributed. The draft took steps in all of these cases, and there is labor peace this offseason. This analysis, plus the one about LeMichael James with the 49'ers is like a dude who did not do his homework, and is trying to fake his way through in class. Come on, man! Come on! 17 Days ago

I don't understand how Jeffery went to a bad spot. He gets to learn how to play at the professional level from Brandon Marshall, a player with a similar style. Say what you want about Marshall off the field, but the dude is a baller on field. He goes to an established team with veteran leaders to keep him in check and a good QB to get him the ball. And it's a good team, so he'll be motivated to work hard and contribute. Supposedly his problems last year came from being on a bad team with bad QBs. Chicago has neither problem. 18 Days ago

Ryan Broyles #5 Amazing! (I hope you are fortune tellers!)
I'm a Detroit fan, and around here everyone is shocked by this 2nd round pick of another WR when our defensive backfield has so much need. I understand the Lions drafting plan of " best available" I just don't understand who created this best available chart.
The first pick was actually the number 2 best available at that point, behind the OG David DeCastro which the Steelers took with their subsequent pick (ranked very high) Not saying our pick of OT Riley Reiff sucked just that's more of a position need than best avail. So it seems to me the best avail chart of the Lions does take into consideration of future needs and current position needs. With this said the second round pick blew all that out of the water. Did anyone have this guy going in the 2nd round? I realize the guy was a stud. but we needed a first and second round CB not another WR especially one that is recovering. I can only hope I am blind and the head office kicks my $@%. Its so nice to finally be a proud Lion fan and actually talk about a winning team. 18 Days ago

If taking an All-American that most of the experts agreed was the best overall player at his position in this draft, a RB that dominated the tough SEC in his final season leading his team to the BCS Championship and looks to be an every down player running, catching and blocking makes this a bad marriage, then please bring it on... The Browns OL is not as nearly bad as everyone thinks it is and with Trent in the back field the play action passing game becomes real again...this kid is made for the AFC North and as a Browns fan I can't wait to see this kid run over the Steelers, Ravens and Bengal defenders... 22 Days ago

Quoting Jim Brown to back up your opinion of Richardson's future with Cleveland doesn't do much for the article... Everyone in Cleveland knows he has an estranged relationship with the organization. 22 Days ago

The Jeffries pick was the only good, sure pick the Bears made. He'll do well learning how to play from a guy whose teammates love him, and has been the second most productive WR in the league over the last 5 yrs. Mercilus was a questionable pick at best, and richardson was a very solid pick for the Browns 23 Days ago

Richardson's shelf life will be cut in half running behind the Browns O-line.

The Browns actually have one of the better lines in the league. Last year there were a couple of injuries, but they may have the singular best line in the NFL this season. 17 Days ago

lol everyones still knocking on poe. #1 poe played every spot on the D-line and never could settle into one spot #2 the dude is a monster lining up with two of the best pass rushers in the league who have recently be linking up with the woefully undersized kelly gregg. #3 and this is the biggest one kelly gregg!!!!! no matter how unproven he is just by sheer girth, speed, and muscle it is still a huge massive improvement over kelly gregg. This defense was 11th last year and with poe should easily be a top ten defense and if Carnell is right about him top 5. either way one of the league best d's just got much better

Not a Texans fan, but have you seen how awful the AFC south is? Texans were tough last year even after all the injuries they suffered (and lets not forget that despite losing mario williams in free agency they played most of last year without him anyways). It is laughable to think that the Texans could possibly miss the playoffs this season...wouldn't quite put them in the super bowl though 22 Days ago

good luck stopping welker, gronk, hernandez, brandon lloyd, steven ridley, deoin branch, anthony gonzalez or whatever other group of weapons the pats put out there, they also have a much improved defense with hightower, jones, and dennard coming in the pats are the team to beat, alongside the packers, so until the texans do something, like win the AFC, you shouldn't talk 22 Days ago

And I'll be laughing when the Texans are bounced in the first round of the playoffs (if they make it that far). Just too funny. The Texans have one good season, and their fans are talking smack. 23 Days ago

Seriously. Do it for a couple more years in a row and we'll talk. You're not the Patriots, Saints or (former) Colts yet. Not by a long shot. 23 Days ago
