Easier to talk about football than to coach it. Would people stop saying that so and so broadcaster is coming back to coach. It NEVER HAPPENS. Once they have a cushy broadcast gig, that's it. Done, Finished. Jimmy, Terry, Howie, Chuckie, Did they come back? NO.

Other than the money, which Parcells does not need, what incentive would Parcells have to coach the Saints for a year? If they do well, it wasnt his team and he gets little credit If they suck it up, it is viewed as a failure. At 71, who needs that stress in a no-win situation?

I'll tell you what, I agree that this goes on in a good chunk of locker rooms. The problem was that New Orleans got busted paying players solely to inflict career threatening injuries, meaning they would take someone out any means necessary. After hearing that pregame speech, it implies that they inflicted the injuries with illeagal hits. The Saints were physical, but if you look at the last 2 seasons especially, they were not a very good tackling team, because they were going for the kill shots. The NFL is not going to take the risk of illeagal hits that caused these injuries.

I see the moron factory has been handing out free samples of its new candy. Have you ever just looked through some of the comments and seen how hateful and stupid they are? Are people really like this about a football team? About a game? Given that amount of passion, I'd love to see if it was something that really mattered, like ending childhood hunger or something. I bet all these people would be just as passionate about that and we'd have that problem licked in now time. Oh, wait. They don't give a damn about that at all because somehow football is more important...
