South Carolina still No. 1 in poll

South Carolina is No. 1 in The Associated Press women's poll for the fifth straight week while Stanford has its lowest ranking in nearly nine years.

The Gamecocks had a busy week, sweeping Hampton, Central Michigan and Liberty by an average of 32 points.

Connecticut and Texas stay second and third in Monday's Top 25. Notre Dame and Texas A&M changed places after the Aggies lost to the Longhorns on Sunday. Baylor, Louisville, Tennessee, North Carolina and Oregon State round out the first 10.

Stanford drops to 16th after losing at Chattanooga and Tennessee. This is the lowest the Cardinal have been since Jan. 2, 2006, when they also were 16. Stanford hadn't been out of the first 10 since Jan. 19, 2009.

Green Bay and Arizona State enter the poll at 24 and 25.
