Arike Ogunbowale, a 5-foot-8 point guard from Milwaukee and the No. 10 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2015 class, has committed to Notre Dame.

Ogunbowale, a senior at Divine Savior Holy Angels, also considered UCLA and Ohio State. She is the third player to commit to Muffet McGraw's stellar 2015 class, joining No. 14 Ali Patberg of Indiana and No. 26 Marina Mabrey of New Jersey.

"Notre Dame was my first visit, and I really loved it there," Ogunbowale said. "I knew I had other visits and I took all into consideration. But my parents and I talked and felt Notre Dame was a perfect fit. I have a Hall of Fame coach, a staff that has all played at a high level, and I can develop as a player and a person there."

Ogunbowale is a three-time gold medalist with USA Basketball, striking gold at the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship, the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championship. She has won back-to-back Gatorade player of the year honors in Wisconsin after averaging 22.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game as a junior and 20.4 points and 9.6 rebounds as a sophomore.

Her brother, Dare Ogunbowale, is a sophomore running back at Wisconsin.

Ogunbowale carries a 3.5 GPA and intends to pursue a business degree at Notre Dame.
