Connecticut, the two-time defending national champion, will be featured twice during ESPN's Big Monday lineup during the 2014-15 women's college basketball season.
The seven-week series -- all games will be broadcast on ESPN2 and also available on WatchESPN -- tips off Jan. 19 when Notre Dame hosts Tennessee. Big Monday will also showcase Duke, Michigan State, South Carolina and Texas A&M, all of which are expected to be ranked among the top 10 in the preseason polls.
All 18 teams that will play on Big Monday, which includes a pair of doubleheaders in February, advanced to the 2013-14 postseason. Three -- UConn, Notre Dame and Maryland -- reached the Final Four.
The schedule also features three 2013-14 WBCA All-Americans: Notre Dame's Jewell Loyd, South Carolina's Tiffany Mitchell and UConn's Breanna Stewart.
The Big Monday schedule also will include the Feb. 9 game between UConn and South Carolina.
