Nebraska's Connie Yori collapses

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska coach Connie Yori was released from the hospital several hours after collapsing during the second half of the 21st-ranked Cornhuskers' game against Indiana on Sunday.

Associate athletic director Marc Boehm said Yori had been bothered by dizzy spells before she collapsed in front of the Nebraska bench with about 12 minutes left in the game. She walked off the court under her own power and received treatment in the athletic training room at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Boehm told ESPN the 50-year-old Yori was released after tests came back negative and "at this point they have diagnosed her dizziness from pure exhaustion."

Associated head coach Sunny Smallwood took over coaching duties in Yori's absence. The Cornhuskers won 76-61.
