ATHENS, Ga. -- Shacobia Barbee scored 16 points and dished out five assists to lead No. 22 Georgia to a 66-35 rout of Colgate on Wednesday night.

Georgia led 19-17 with 6:54 remaining in the first half, then forced eight turnovers during a 13-2 run to build a 32-19 halftime lead. The Bulldogs (6-0) led by double digits the rest of the way, and finished with 16 steals.

Barbee was 7 of 13 from the field, and was one assist shy of her career best. Merritt Hempe added 10 points for the Bulldogs.

Colgate's Carole Harris hit the first bucket after the break. The Bulldogs answered with an 11-0 run to lead 43-21 with 13:49 to play.

Harris scored 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting to lead Colgate (0-4), which shot just 13 of 42 for 31 percent from the field.
