Source: Taylor Martinez eyes start

Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez plans to start Saturday at Minnesota, according to a source.

Martinez missed three games with turf toe before returning to practice this week. He found the injury, which required a walking boot, very painful, and it's hard to know how it might affect his mobility Saturday.

Tommy Armstrong has started for Nebraska since Martinez has been out. Martinez has completed 66.3 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and one interception.

No. 24 Nebraska is 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
