Former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is in talks with LSU coach Les Miles to run the Tigers' offense, sources confirmed to ESPN on Friday.

LSU hopes to have an official announcement next week, according to The Associated Press, which earlier reported talks were ongoing between Cameron and the school.

Cameron was fired by Ravens coach John Harbaugh after a Week 14 loss to the Washington Redskins. After some late-season struggles, Baltimore went on to win the Super Bowl with former Colts coach Jim Caldwell as offensive coordinator.

Greg Studrawa has been LSU's offensive coordinator the past two seasons. He is expected to be retained as offensive line coach.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
