Syracuse assistant pleads guilty to DWI charge

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse football
offensive coordinator Brian White has pleaded guilty to driving
while intoxicated.

White was fined $750 and had his license suspended for 90 days
Wednesday night by DeWitt Town Justice Jack Schultz.

White was ticketed in June for driving while intoxicated. He was
hired in January to coach the quarterbacks, and was later promoted
to offensive coordinator.

Head coach Greg Robinson issued a statement about White's
situation.

"Over the last four months, Brian has spent a great deal of
time working to resolve the issues in an appropriate manner. I know
he'll continue to work in this regard," said Robinson, in his
second year at Syracuse.
