There are 128 teams playing at the highest level of college football, and they all start the season undefeated.
The harsh reality, though, is that only a fraction of those teams have a legitimate playoff chance. The vast majority are pretenders who would need a lot of luck to make a College Football Playoff run.
But there are a few super sleepers who are a step or two away from barging into the playoff bracket.
